Purchase a quarter and get a variety from roasts, steaks and ground beef. Roasts cooked slowly with vegetables are a favorite by many during the cold months.

Beef sold by the Quarter, Half and Whole
Beef is priced by the pound hanging weight. Hanging weight is derived at the local processor/butcher shop.
Approximate hanging weights range from:

On average, cut and wrapped meat requires 1 cubic foot of freezer space for each 35 lbs. of meat. A whole beef will require approximately 13-15 cubic feet of freezer space.
Processing charges are separate from the purchase of the animal portion. Beef processing is generally basic and currently ranges from $380 - $450.
Cuts from a beef include: roasts, ground beef, steaks, strips and cubes, ribs, stew meat, etc.
Our local processor can give you all the details on your processing questions. $75 deposit required per quarter order.

A deposit invoice will be mailed or emailed to you regarding all the sale details.
We will notify you of the date the beef, hog and lamb will be taken to the local processor/butcher shop.
You will contact the local processor/butcher shop and communicate how you want your purchased portion custom processed on the date given in step 3.
An invoice will be mailed or emailed on the balance due on the beef, hog and lamb. Payment is due prior to picking up meat at the Butcher shop.
When your order is finished the Butcher shop will contact you. Payment for processing is due at the time of meat pick up.
NOTE: We offer meat drop-offs in Burnsville, MN at various times during fall and spring.
