About Hogs

We select for genetics that will provide marbled meat, enough fat, and tenderness to please the taste.

  • Our hogs are farrowed in huts on pasture or in stalls.

  • Given pasture to harvest and exercise.

  • Given deep bedding when it is cold out during the winter.

  • Focus is on low stress.

  • Fed pasture and vegetarian grain diet.

  • Primary breeds: 

o    Currently we have Berkshire, Red Wattle, Duroc.
o    We will be adding Old Lines of Chester White, Tamworth and Herford this year.
